First up is this gorgeous, character packed 3 bed cottage in the Kentish village of Charing, which is absolutely packed with period features, which isn’t surprising considering it forms part of the ancient Archbishop’s Palace at Charing; a Scheduled National Monument. Dating back to the 13th century, the Grade I listed property it has recently been restored by The Spitalfields Historic Buildings Trust to form what the agents term a ‘deceptively spacious three bedroom house’. As well as three bedrooms the cottage has three reception rooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen/breakfast room and a separate studio in the garden.

After 34 painstaking years, a small band of Inuit translators have finally delivered an Inuktitut-language Bible to one of the most-Christian regions in Canada.
The completed Inuit-language bible, a $1.7 million joint project of the the Canadian Bible Society and the Anglican Church, is set to be launched on June 3 in a ceremony at the igloo-shaped St. Jude’s Anglican Cathedral in Iqaluit.
“We’re happy to have this out of the way,” said Rev. Canon Jonas Allooloo, who was with the translation team since its 1978 inception. “It’s been 34 years and we can do something else now.”
One of the most demanding professions is being a doctor because your work schedule does not follow the 8-hours a day, five days a week routine. When an emergency occurs, you can be awakened at the middle of the night to report to duty and you cannot complain about it. The medical profession requires practitioners to update themselves and to know modern ways of treatment for professional and personal improvement. Doctors like Dr George Shapiro Scarsdale NY have to undergo further studies to be able to serve their patients well.
